What is your home worth?
Not a computer guess. A broker who has sold property in this county will look at yours — what it is, what condition it is in, what has actually changed hands nearby — and tell you what they think it will bring.
For an ordinary house in a town we work in, we can now show you a range straight away — built from every comparable sale in your county, thousands of them. For a farmhouse on nine acres we still cannot, because no model has a comparable set for that, and we would rather tell you so than hand you a number that is wrong in the direction that costs you money.
What would you actually walk away with?
Usually the more useful question. Put your own numbers in — nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no form behind it.
Your lender can give you a payoff quote.
Whatever you agree in your listing agreement. Commissions are negotiable and are not set by anyone else.
Title, attorney, recording and transfer stamps — your title company will quote these.
Selling ground rather than a house?
Farm and recreational ground is priced by the acre and sells to a different buyer. See what we have listed, or call (855) 215-3400 and ask for whoever handles land.
